Guitar humbucker pickup. 7-string version of our custom over-wound P.A.F.-like humbucker with moderate output that is perfectly voiced for supreme blues, rock, and metal clarity. It has a bright upper-midrange, which helps the notes jump out when playing clean and provides great harmonic content when playing with gain. The Duncan Custom has a bright, airy, and focused drive, making it a great choice for warmer guitars with a prominent midrange. Pair with the Jazz neck or 59 neck models for a rockin dual humbucker setup. Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA, factory, the 7-string Duncan Custom humbucker uses a small ceramic bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
